Established in 2022, the Research, Data, Intelligence and Health Platform (PREDIS) stands as a cornerstone in the landscape of digital technologies applied to health research.
With the support of several partners, our platform was designed to meet the growing needs of researchers in the effective and ethical application of artificial intelligence to health.
This initiative is funded by the Fonds de Recherche en santé du Québec.
Active since 2022 within the health AI research community in Québec City, the PREDIS platform team has identified the following needs:
Tailored support to guide AI-Health research projects from start to finish. A project begins with a feasibility study, consisting of several exploratory meetings that allow the platform team to fully understand the data and the research context, while explaining the various possible solutions in plain language. The PREDIS team can also provide support for recruiting a new resource and for preparing a grant application.
In-depth knowledge and mastery of AI tools that can be applied to health research data. Our experts have the ability to develop algorithms and applications that not only meet your needs, but are also easy to use and adapted to your team. The platform supports you through the technology transfer process to ensure that teams become autonomous in using the tools created.
Tailored educational sessions designed to strengthen the skills of health research teams in the field of AI and data analysis. Various training courses are offered to meet the needs and expertise levels of members of participating research centres. Customized training can also be set up in collaboration with members of your teams.
As part of our support services, the project trajectory is a central tool that allows us to structure and visualize together the path ahead.
A feasibility study is a preliminary technical analysis carried out before a project is launched in order to assess its chances of success.
The project charter is an official document that initiates and authorizes a project. Drafted at the start of a project, it serves as a reference for all parties involved.
